Sinpaş GYO, has bought a 7.4 % share of Saf Gayrimenkul Geliştirme İnşaat ve Ticaret A.Ş. worth 41,551,000 USD in 2008. A public offered GYO, Sağlam Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı A.Ş. has taken over Saf Gayrimenkul Geliştirme İnşaat ve Ticaret A.Ş. with all its debts and receivables as a whole and the merger of two companies was registered on 02.11.2011. After the decision of merging the powers of two companies, at the extraordinary Board Meeting in 31.10.2011, the trade name of the newly established company as a result of this merger was determined as SAF Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı A.Ş. (“SAF GYO”). The market value of the new company is 1,2 billion TL as of 31.12.2011. The company has been inside the top five GYO’s at the sector by its big size. Sinpaş GYO has a share of 6.93 % of SAF GYO, which has reached a paid capital of 886,601,669 TL from 56 million TL and which has entered into leading real estate joint ventures of Turkey by its big size and profitability. The total expertise value of properties inside the portfolio of SAF GYO is 1,973 million TL. Along with sharing regular rentals by offering variety in terms of size and source of revenue to investors SAF GYO is also planning to offer investment opportunities on real estate projects. The company has a portfolio of homes, social area, AVM and offices with great added value in Istanbul. Planning to increase the weight of trade and home based mixed projects in metropolises with its strong capital structure and its innovated approach, the first investment of the company is Akasya Project. The project constitutes 95% of the company portfolio with an expertise value of 1,882 million TL. The project, developed on a land of 121,000 m2 in İstanbul Acıbadem, consists of three stages. The company has purchased the land of approx. 125,000 m2 , which was put out to tender by TOKİ, located in the city of İstanbul, at the district of Bakırköy, locality of Zeytinlik, at the township 50, section 59, parcel 2 at the seaside Bakırköy – Ataköy by giving the highest bid. The land shall be developed for a commercial real estate project. Kat A.Ş shall develop one of the most comprehensive mix-use projects of Turkey on one of the most valuable properties of the region.
